Integrative Nurse Health Coach

Integrative nurse health coaches work with the whole person, hold space to listen to your story, and use inquiry to help motivate you to make changes. We utilize various tools to facilitate inquiry and personal discovery. Nurse Coaching helps facilitate behavior change in a structured, supportive partnership. Working together allows client the space and environment to identify obstacles to change and create strategies for sustainable and culturally appropriate changes. S/he provides additional activities and resources to reach optimal health. Sessions can take place over the telephone, or in person. Appropriate referrals are made when medical management or a specialist is indicated and will be based on YOUR belief system.

Lifestyle medicine:

According to the College of Lifestyle Medicine:
Lifestyle Medicine (LM) is the use of lifestyle interventions in the treatment and management of disease.
Such interventions include: Nutrition, Movement, Stress Reduction and Management, and other non-drug modalities.
